Special Education Teacher - Longmont, CO

Key Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required for effective communication with students and families
- Flexible mindset and strong ability to actively contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
- Minimum of one year’s experience leading or supporting classrooms, preferably in special education settings
- Active CDE license in hand or clear evidence of licensing process underway (candidates must provide license or COOL for consideration)
- Resourceful, empathetic, and committed to fostering inclusion for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, deliver, and modify instructional plans to address individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Employ engaging and differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate varying abilities and learning styles
- Maintain up-to-date student records, IEP documentation, and progress reports in compliance with state and district policies
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Adapt and collaborate with colleagues to create a nurturing, effective learning environment within the resource classroom
