Special Education Teacher | Lowell, Massachusetts

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong collaboration skills with staff and families
- Effective behavior management and positive reinforcement strategies
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each student’s abilities
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance
