Special Education Teacher - Manteno, IL

- Proven experience working in special education, specifically at the elementary level
- Familiarity supporting self-contained, cross-category classrooms

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction and interventions to students in grades 1-4 within a self-contained classroom
- Adapt and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with other educators and support staff
- Monitor and document student progress, offering regular updates to families and the multidisciplinary team
- Foster a positive, respectful, and structured classroom climate that encourages student participation and achievement
- Support students’ social and emotional needs alongside their academic development
