- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and related service staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction tailored to individual learning plans (IEPs)
- Assess academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students
- Adapt and modify curriculum and teaching methods to support diverse learners
- Provide a safe, encouraging classroom setting that nurtures growth and independence
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress toward goals
- Work closely with parents and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development sessions, and ongoing training
