Special Education Teacher in Woodbury, TN

- Current Tennessee teaching license or eligibility to obtain one
- 461 Special Education endorsement
- Experience or strong interest in working with students with significant and varied needs
- Ability to create, adapt, and implement differentiated instructional strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with support staff, families, and related service providers
- Commitment to positive behavioral supports and student-centered approaches
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering engaging, individualized instruction
- Developing and implementing IEPs aligned with student goals and regulatory standards
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting on student progress
- Collaborating with paraprofessionals, specialists, and family members for comprehensive student support
- Creating a structured, supportive classroom environment that values each student’s potential
