Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Special Education, Speech-Language Pathology, or School Psychology with proper Oregon TSPC licensure (SLPs may be Board Certified).
- 3+ years working with K-12 students on the Autism spectrum, including a range from high-functioning to severely impacted, non-speaking students.
- Experience conducting Autism-specific assessments.
- Consideration also given to BCBAs with focused Autism expertise and familiarity with public education and SPED.
Responsibilities:
- Consult and collaborate with school staff and families on best practices for Autistic students.
- Complete Autism evaluations and recommend individualized support strategies.
- Support inclusion in both general and self-contained education settings across K-12.
- Provide ongoing professional development and leadership in Autism practices.
