Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students in special education classrooms. Two full-time positions are available, serving grades K-2 in a vibrant school environment. You’ll work onsite, 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday between 8:30AM and 4:00PM. This role begins as soon as possible and extends through June 10, 2027, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners’ growth and development.

Key Qualifications:
- Active certification or licensure suited for special education caseloads
- Bachelor’s degree required for eligibility for emergency teaching permit
- Prior special education experience within a school setting is a must
- Mastery of subject matter and resource materials for K-2 special education
- Proven ability to provide classroom structure and manage student behavior effectively
- Comfort and confidence working in urban educational settings
- Possession of reliable transportation
- Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
- Strong professional communication and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans to support varying abilities
- Partner with other educators and caregivers for holistic student support
