Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Special Education Teacher in vibrant elementary classrooms (K-2). Two full-time positions are available, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 10, 2027. Qualifications:
- Active certification/licensure to support relevant caseloads
- Bachelor’s degree required to secure an emergency teaching permit, if necessary
- Proven experience in school settings
- Mastery of special education content, instructional methods, and resource materials
- Strong classroom and behavioral management abilities
- Must be able to reliably commute and work onsite, 8:30AM–4PM (schedule cannot be altered)
- Comfortable working in urban school environments and with district protocols
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a similar setting
- Successful completion of all required Pennsylvania clearances
