Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, ideally in a push-in resource or co-teaching model
- Strong understanding of IEP development, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and team members
- Dedicated to accommodating individual learning needs and building positive classroom environments
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering push-in instructional support for students in grades 3-6 within general education classrooms
- Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and collecting data on student progress
- Collaborating closely with general education teachers to modify lessons and ensure access to curriculum
- Offering academic, behavioral, and emotional support as needed
- Participating in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing parent communication
- Maintaining organized records and ensuring all required documentation is up-to-date
The position’s schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 3:30pm, leaving your evenings and weekends free to recharge and enjoy.
