What We’re Looking For:
- Active Special Education Teacher certification aligned with elementary grade levels
- Prior experience in an elementary school setting, particularly with low-incidence populations, strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Deep commitment to differentiated instruction and fostering an environment where every child feels seen and valued
- Flexibility, patience, and a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to implement and monitor IEPs, collect and analyze data, and tailor learning experiences to each student’s needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in low-incidence classrooms
- Assess, develop, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
- Communicate proactively with families about student progress and strategies for reinforcement at home
- Participate in IEP meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
