Multiple contract opportunities are available for skilled Special Education Teachers, offering fulfilling roles through June 11, 2026. Positions are based in dedicated schools with strong support for students in St. Paul, MN. As part of a committed educational community, you'll work on-site, collaborating with colleagues to create inclusive and individualized learning environments.
Openings include:
- Autism Specialist for RiverEast Elem/Secondary (Setting 4): Two positions available, each with 4-6 students on caseload
- Autism Specialist at Farnsworth Aerospace Lower (Setting 3 ASD/DCD): Approximately 6-8 students
- Early Childhood Special Education Teacher (Itinerant, located at 271 Belvidere Bldg)
- Special Education Teacher at Global Arts Plus - Lower (Settings 1 and 2): Caseload of 15-19 students
- Developmental Cognitive Disabilities Teacher at Farnsworth Aerospace Upper (Setting 3 ASD/DCD): Caseload of 8-10 students
- Homebound Special Education Teacher: Provide services at various locations; reports to RiverEast
Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license required
- Experience or training in special education preferred
- Strong ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues
- Creative, flexible, and collaborative mindset
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver specialized instruction aligned with students’ needs
- Monitor and document student progress, communicating regularly with families and staff
- Collaborate with related service providers and general education teams
- Support social-emotional and behavioral growth
