Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Minnesota Teaching Credential in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities
- Prior experience in a special education classroom, ideally with center-based or self-contained settings

- Commitment to creating inclusive, engaging, and adaptive learning environments
- Ability to maintain detailed and accurate student records
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead instruction within a center-based classroom for high school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
- Adapt curriculum materials to suit diverse learning needs
- Foster a respectful, safe, and supportive classroom community
- Monitor progress, assess learning, and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Work closely with other educators and support staff to meet student goals
- Maintain compliance with all district and state special education regulations
