Special Education Teacher in Minneapolis, MN

Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Minnesota teaching license required (Special Education)
- Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and progress monitoring
- Ability to maintain a compassionate and patient classroom environment
- Previous experience in a special education setting preferred, but not required
- Commitment to culturally responsive and trauma-informed instruction
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with varying needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with families and support staff
- Collaborate with related service providers, interventionists, and school leadership
- Track student progress and adapt teaching strategies to help each student thrive
- Foster a positive, safe, and respectful classroom community
