Special Education Teacher in Minneapolis, MN

Key Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
- Experience working with students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) strongly preferred
- Strong ability to manage caseloads in diverse educational settings
- Skilled in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
What You’ll Do:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with EBD in a center-based classroom
- Develop and adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to foster student progress
- Track and document student growth, adapting strategies based on ongoing assessment
- Cultivate a positive classroom environment that supports emotional and academic development
