Desired Experience/Qualifications:
- Active Special Education (SPED) licensure in Minnesota
- Valid teaching certificate for Minnesota
- Previous experience with elementary-aged students, especially in ASD-focused environments, strongly preferred
- Ready to start as soon as possible and able to fulfill assignment through June 11, 2027
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support for a caseload of 6-8 elementary students in an ASD Setting 3 environment
- Create, implement, and update IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Use innovative strategies to promote student engagement and progress
- Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to families and staff
