Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Overland Park, KS
Hourly Wage: $45+/hour, based on experience

Position Details:
- Hours: Full-time (30-37.5 hours/week)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Create and implement learning plans based on students' specific needs, abilities, and goals.
- Monitor Student Progress: Assess and track the progress of students, adjusting instruction and goals as necessary.
- Implement Behavioral Strategies: Use positive behavioral interventions and supports to address behavioral challenges and promote appropriate behavior.
- Adapt Curriculum: Modify and adapt lesson plans, materials, and assessments to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Ensure Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and Section 504, to ensure students receive the services they are entitled to.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Special Education Teaching License Required
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
