Special Education Teacher - Montrose, CO

Key Qualifications:
- Possession of a current Colorado Special Education License or eligibility for reciprocity
- Knowledge of IDEA regulations and special education compliance standards
- Experience supporting elementary-aged learners (preferred)
- Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Dedication to delivering personalized instruction in line with each student’s IEP
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction and support tailored to elementary students with mild/moderate needs
- Implement, monitor, and track progress toward IEP goals
- Maintain accurate compliance records and required documentation
- Collaborate with district staff, parents, and external service providers to ensure student success
- Participate in evaluations, IEP meetings, and team planning sessions as needed
