- Strong skills in differentiated instruction and IEP development
- Excellent communication abilities for collaborating with students, families, and staff
- Ability to create positive classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths, goals, and unique learning needs
- Deliver engaging instruction and adapted curriculum for elementary students with mild/moderate disabilities
- Employ effective teaching strategies to support academic and social-emotional growth
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers and related service providers
- Conduct ongoing assessment and progress monitoring, documenting results and communicating with stakeholders
- Foster family engagement and maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians
