Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid and active Special Education licensure and certification in Connecticut
- Proven experience working in school-based special education environments
- Comfortable working with students with multiple disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and inclusive classroom settings
- Prepared to provide professional references as part of the hiring process
- Strong communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction for students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Adapt and modify curriculum according to each student’s unique goals and strengths
- Work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to ensure student success
- Maintain ongoing communication with families regarding student progress
Position Details:
- Contract position, full time (35 hours per week)
- Immediate start, through June 11, 2027
