Key Qualifications:
- Current Special Education Teacher certification appropriate to elementary age group requirements
- Previous experience working with self-contained behavioral caseloads is highly desirable
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to implement behavioral interventions
- Commitment to individualized instruction and differentiated learning techniques
- Effective communicator able to collaborate with parents, staff, and administrators
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver tailored lesson plans that address the academic and behavioral needs of each student in the self-contained classroom
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), track progress, and adjust strategies as needed

- Work closely with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive practices and positive transitions for students
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
