Special Education Teacher - Sykesville, Maryland

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education (SPED) teaching certification required
- Experience working with middle school students or similar age group preferred
- Ability to individualize instruction and manage a small, focused caseload
- Passion for nurturing social, emotional, and academic development
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction for 15 students enrolled in the Learning for Life Program
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Foster an inclusive classroom culture that celebrates student progress
- Collaborate effectively with staff, families, and related service providers
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation per program standards
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
