Primary Responsibilities:
- Instruct and support middle school students with a range of disabilities in accordance with IEP goals
- Manage either a self-contained or resource classroom, tailoring curriculum to meet individual and group needs
- Implement differentiated instructional strategies to promote student engagement and success
- Collect and analyze ongoing data to inform instruction and ensure measurable progress for students
- Communicate regularly with families, counselors, and administration regarding student development and needs
- Uphold a positive, supportive classroom culture that encourages academic and social growth
- Participate in school team meetings and contribute to a collaborative teaching environment
