Choose from openings at Claymont Elementary School, Harlan Elementary School, Maple Lane Elementary School, Mount Pleasant High School, or P.S. duPont Middle School, based on your interest and expertise.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Must hold a valid Delaware Special Education Teacher license
- Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred
- Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and IEP processes
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Comfortable utilizing a variety of instructional strategies and classroom technologies
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct instruction, support, and interventions as outlined in IEPs
