Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Special Education Teachers to make a meaningful impact in the classroom during the 2026-2027 school year. Multiple full-time, onsite contract roles are open in dynamic learning environments, supporting students’ individualized needs and helping them thrive academically and socially.
Currently, there are four openings, each with a distinct setting and caseload. Please indicate your interest in one of the following:
- Special Education Resource Teacher at an elementary school with a caseload of 30 students
- Special Education Resource Teacher at another elementary location with a caseload of 30 students
- Special Education Resource Teacher at a middle school serving a caseload of 37 students
- Special Education Resource Teacher at an additional elementary site with a caseload of 30 students
Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid state certification in Special Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive classroom environment
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with general education staff, families, and support services
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as necessary
- Maintaining thorough, timely documentation and compliance with state and federal requirements
- Providing direct instruction and support to students with diverse academic and behavioral needs
