Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching License (required)
- Certification in Special Education
- Proven experience working in high school settings, particularly with autism support
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Genuine passion for helping students reach their potential
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, adapted instruction aligned to IEP goals
- Foster a supportive, structured classroom environment for diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with other educators, related service providers, and families
- Collect data and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate and thorough records
- Cultivate self-advocacy and life skills in students with autism
