Qualifications:
- PA Special Education certification preferred
- Consideration for out-of-state licenses and those eligible for emergency certification
- Experience or strong interest in supporting early elementary students (Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grades)
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction and ability to implement IEPs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver tailored lessons for students in a K–2 Autistic Support classroom
- Implement and monitor individualized instructional plans, accommodations, and behavior supports
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, school staff, and families
- Track student progress and contribute to IEP meetings and student goal-setting
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment
Position Details:
- Full-time contract position, 37.5–40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
- Immediate start with an assignment extending through June 11, 2027
- Pay ranges from $35-$42 per hour for emergency certified educators, and $42-$52 per hour for certified teachers
