Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification)
- Experience working with students in a self-contained or inclusive setting
- Strong commitment to differentiated instruction and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families
- Organizational ability to maintain detailed records and track student progress
Position Highlights:
- Guide and implement engaging daily lessons in core subjects for elementary and middle school students with mild to moderate needs
- Adapt curriculum and develop activities that support each student’s learning objectives and IEP goals
- Partner with classroom aides and ABA specialists to deliver cohesive, evidence-based instruction and behavior supports
