Position Overview:
- Full-time for the 2026/2027 academic year
- Contract duration: August 24, 2026 – June 24, 2027
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 2:40 pm
- Multiple positions: high school resource/co-teaching, middle school, and a leave coverage through December
Qualifications and Preferences:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience or strong interest in working with resource and co-teaching models
- Proven ability to collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
- Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Passion for fostering inclusive and supportive classroom communities
- Prior experience in high school or middle school special education preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with general education staff to implement IEPs in resource and co-teaching settings
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school teams regarding student development
- Adapt curriculum and learning strategies to ensure student success
- Support a positive and respectful classroom climate
