Special Education Teacher | Olivehurst, California

The assignment runs from August 11th, 2026, to June 4th, 2027, covering the full school year and providing a full-time, onsite schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- California Special Education Teacher certification, or eligibility to obtain
- Demonstrated experience working with students in special education programs
- Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs), and ability to monitor, document, and assess student progress
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Ability to create engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to unique student needs
- Flexibility and a compassionate approach to foster a supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and adapt curriculum for students with diverse learning needs
- Prepare IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct instruction and classroom management for assigned caseload
- Employ various teaching methodologies to accommodate students’ learning styles
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate records and track student progress, communicating updates effectively to families and staff
