Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Special Education Teacher for a full-year contract assignment. As a contract professional in this program, you will work in a supportive, resource-rich environment designed to help young learners with a variety of needs develop foundational skills in a specialized classroom setting.
Key Position Details
Employment Type: W2 Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 working hours per day
Compensation: $35-40 an hour based on experience and fit
Requirements
To be considered for this contract position, candidates MUST possess:
Nebraska Department of Education teaching certificate
Valid Special Education endorsement appropriate for grade level placement
Previous experience or a strong clinical interest in working with special needs students
New grads who have completed student teaching are welcome to apply
Candidates who are not fully licensed or who will not be licensed before the beginning of the 26-27 school year will NOT be considered.
