This full-time Pre-K inclusion position offers the opportunity to work with a lively group of up to 18 four-year-olds, combining students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) alongside their typically developing peers. You'll collaborate closely with two dedicated paraprofessionals, creating a supportive and nurturing environment designed to foster learning and growth for every child.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification or eligibility for certification in Alabama
- Experience working with preschool-aged children, ideally in an inclusive or special education setting
- Strong understanding of IEP implementation and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication skills to partner with families, staff, and administrators
- Flexibility, creativity, and genuine passion for supporting young learners with diverse needs
Essential Responsibilities:
