Special Education Teacher | Oregon, Ohio

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification appropriate for the grade levels served
- Experience working with elementary students, specifically K-3, preferred
- Knowledge of supporting students with SLD and TBI
- Ability to adapt instruction and materials to meet individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction for students with special needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with regulations and best practices
- Maintain accurate progress monitoring and student documentation
- Work collaboratively with school personnel, therapists, and parents
- Foster an inclusive, positive, and encouraging classroom environment
