Qualifications:
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License (IL PEL) with Special Education Teacher endorsement
- Comprehensive understanding of IEP processes and best practices in differentiated instruction

- Ability to manage and adapt to a dynamic classroom setting
- Previous experience in special education preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each student’s strengths and needs
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and accommodations to support unique learning styles
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to optimize student progress
- Track and document student outcomes, maintaining accurate and confidential records
- Foster a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student confidence and participation
