Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Alabama
- Relevant credentials and documentation as required by state regulations
- Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct instruction to students with exceptionalities in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain thorough and accurate student records and progress reports
- Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
