Located in the welcoming community near Papillion, NE, you’ll help shape each child’s educational journey while collaborating with dedicated colleagues.

In this role, you'll foster an engaging, nurturing classroom environment and create individualized instruction plans that help each student succeed. You’ll have the resources needed to guide and support students, as well as the satisfaction of knowing your expertise is making a meaningful difference every day.

Desired Qualifications/Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification required
  • Previous experience supporting students with severe disabilities strongly preferred
  • In-depth understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Skilled in adapting curriculum to meet varied learning needs
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and compassion for diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a self-contained classroom for middle school students with severe disabilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Adapt and modify instruction to support diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Track student progress and adjust strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and families to maximize student growth
  • Maintain compliance with district and state special education regulations
