Special Education Teacher - Patrick, SC

With two openings available, this role offers a manageable caseload—fewer than 12 students—allowing you to focus deeply on student growth and achievement.
You’ll contribute to a collaborative school environment during the academic year, starting July 22, 2026, and concluding on May 28, 2027. Working 37-40 hours over five days a week, you’ll have the opportunity to guide and inspire students while utilizing your specialized training and commitment to inclusive education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SC Teacher Certification in Special Education.
- Previous experience or training in writing and implementing IEPs.
- Strong skills in classroom management and differentiation.
- Effective communication for collaborating with staff, families, and service providers.
- Adaptability and positive attitude in dynamic classroom settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement IEPs and deliver targeted daily instruction to students.
- Consistently collect and monitor data to inform student progress.
- Complete IEP-related documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Supervise classroom assistants and foster a supportive classroom environment.
- Fulfill other assigned duties to support student achievement and program effectiveness.
