Special Education Teacher | Pawtucket, Rhode Island

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching credentials
- Experience working in a self-contained classroom setting

- A collaborative spirit, working closely with paraprofessionals and other educators
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for IEPs, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
- Collaborate with paras, related service personnel, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Guide and supervise classroom paras in daily routines and instructional support
- Provide a safe, predictable space that encourages student participation and growth
