These roles offer a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 7:45 am to 2:45 pm, providing a rewarding structure for educators seeking meaningful connections and the chance to facilitate student growth.
Available positions include:
- 8th Grade Self-Contained Special Education Teacher
- 6th Grade Inclusion Special Education Teacher (supporting in general education settings, as well as leading 2-3 classes exclusively for special education students)
- 3rd-5th Grade Self-Contained Special Education Teacher
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience in self-contained and/or inclusion teaching environments is highly valued
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families
- Demonstrated commitment to differentiated instruction and individualized support for diverse learners
- Adaptable, resourceful, and passionate about fostering growth in students with special needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons based on students’ IEPs and academic levels
- Collaborate with general education teachers to facilitate inclusion
- Provide targeted instruction and social-emotional support to empower students
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate regularly with parents and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support
