Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching credential or eligibility in California
- Experience with classrooms ranging from Pre-K, Elementary (Grades K-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), to High School (Grades 9-12)
- Enthusiasm for teaching Math and differentiating instruction across grade bands
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student IEP goals
- Deliver specialized instruction in both resource and inclusive classroom settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and compliance with IEPs
- Document student growth and maintain records in alignment with school and state regulations
- Provide a nurturing and structured classroom environment that encourages learning, independence, and social-emotional development across all levels, from Early Childhood to High School
