Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current certification or licensure in Special Education (as required by state regulations)

- Prior experience in an elementary setting or self-contained special education classroom strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and behavior management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and interventions to meet the diverse needs of students
- Develop, modify, and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Maintain a positive, organized, and supportive classroom environment focused on student progress and engagement
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
- Foster meaningful connections with students, families, and colleagues
- Ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal special education regulations
