Make a difference in the lives of students as a Special Education Teacher for K-12th grade in a contract position running from January 2026 through June 2026. This role offers a chance to teach and support students across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Qualifications:
- Active and valid state teaching license in Special Education
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Effective communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach to meet diverse student needs
- Commitment to individualized education and support plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement specialized instruction tailored to each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- Develop positive, inclusive classroom environments across a range of grade levels and needs
- Maintain accurate records for student progress, attendance, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and other service providers
- Provide guidance and resources to students in both self-contained and resource classroom settings
- Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings
