Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school community in Philadelphia, PA 19124. This is a full-time opportunity working with students in an elementary Autistic Support classroom.

Teachers will be joining a strong and supportive team, with experienced staff across the administration, elementary and high school divisions, and special education departments.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction to students in a 1st–2nd grade Autistic Support classroom
- Develop and implement instruction aligned with individual student IEPs
- Support students' academic, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional development
- Collaborate with two classroom paraprofessionals to provide individualized student support
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Implement appropriate accommodations, modifications, and behavioral strategies
- Collaborate with families, related service providers, and school staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based meetings as needed
Qualifications
- Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification required
- Emergency certification may be considered for candidates with relevant experience in an Autistic Support classroom
- Experience working with students with autism strongly preferred
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to creating a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
