Qualifications:
- Valid AZ Secondary Teaching License
- Current K-12 Special Education Certificate
- IVP Fingerprint Card
- Experience with students with emotional disabilities, other eligibilities, and supporting prosocial/self-regulatory skills
- Awareness of diverse learners’ needs (at-risk, limited English proficient, exceptional)
- Familiarity with IEP/504, compliance, and special services documentation within federal, state, and district guidelines
- E.E.E.I. training (or willingness to attend staff development)
Responsibilities:
- Serve students in inclusion, practical, CBT (life skills/transition), or STRIVE (self-contained behavior/autism) settings
- Develop and implement IEPs and related plans
- Employ differentiated instruction and behavioral supports
- Collaborate with families, staff, and support services
- Maintain high standards of compliance and student care
