- Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, aides, and related service staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, accommodations, and communication with parents/guardians
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Special Education Certification for Texas
- Possession of at least one of the following endorsements (matching appropriate grade levels): Self Contained, Core Subjects, or Generalist
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a Life Skills or FASE classroom strongly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple student needs while maintaining a positive and structured learning environment
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
