Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification for Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a self-contained or specialized special education classroom preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and compliance
- Excellent behavior management and de-escalation skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet a range of abilities and needs
- Effective communication and teamwork with parents, staff, and administration
- Flexible, resilient, and energetic approach to daily responsibilities
