- Cross-Categorical Special Education Teachers (multiple positions)
- Self-Contained Special Education Teacher for students with complex needs, including Autism and medical needs
- 4K Teacher (must hold a 1809 license)
- Middle School Cross-Categorical Special Education Teachers (multiple openings)
Desired qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin DPI license appropriate for the teaching assignment (e.g., Cross-Categorical, Early Childhood 1809)
- Experience working with students receiving special education services, including those with Autism or medical complexities (for self-contained roles)
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
- Compassion, flexibility, and a commitment to student success
Key responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction tailored to meet individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Collaborate and communicate regularly with families and school teams
- Monitor student progress, track data, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt instructional materials and methods as needed to maximize accessibility and achievement
