- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and varying grade levels
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Background in teaching math is highly valued
- Positive, patient, and creative attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with a range of abilities
- Instruct and support learners from Pre-K to 12th grade, adjusting strategies based on developmental and academic needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, specialists, and families to support student progress
- Utilize a variety of instructional tools and assistive technologies to maximize student engagement
- Assess student progress and document performance in alignment with district and state requirements
- Provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support tailored to student needs
- Foster an inclusive, welcoming classroom atmosphere that nurtures growth and confidence
