What We’re Looking For:
- Active Florida ESE certification required
- Current Florida K-6 or PK-3 General Education certification required
- Previous experience leading a self-contained special education classroom is essential
- Strong ability to adapt instruction for varying student needs and learning styles
- Willingness to complete or verify fingerprints through the AHCA Clearinghouse for district credentialing
- Readiness to participate in an internal eligibility interview and virtual prescreen session
Role Details & Responsibilities:
- Full-time, on-site position; remote/VOCO not available
- School assignment will be at one location, with the exact site to be determined mainly among elementary campuses (preferences for other levels may be considered)
- 35 hours per week, following a typical school-day schedule (7 hours/day)
- Plan and implement individualized instruction within a self-contained classroom
- Monitor student progress and modify curriculum as needed
- Collaborate closely with other education professionals and families to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student performance
