Key Qualifications:
- Valid Rhode Island teaching license and certification for Special Education
- Willingness to obtain a National BCI
- Experience or passion for working with 5th-grade students with diverse learning needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction as a 5th grade Special Education Teacher
- Provide one period of resource support and three to four periods co-teaching or push-in services daily
- Manage a caseload of 9 students, providing additional services to 15–17 students in reading and/or writing
- Collaborate with general education staff to ensure student success
- Commit to a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule from 7:45am–2:45pm
