- Strong skills in individualized instruction, classroom management, and IEP implementation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to support multiple classrooms or settings, including traveling between buildings (for Learning Support role)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver tailored instructional plans to meet the unique needs of students in Life Skills, Autistic Support, or Learning Support classrooms
- Assess student progress and adjust strategies to promote optimal learning outcomes
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where every student can succeed
- Maintain accurate records, document student growth, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to maximize student potential
- Adapt to changing needs across two locations, ensuring continuity of support for Learning Support students
